There will be ALOT of walking...
San Miguel de Allende is renowned for its walkability. The cobblestone paths, uneven pavements, and occasional steep hills make for a charming yet sometimes challenging stroll, which should be taken into consideration if you have had knee surgeries, hip replacements, chronic sprained ankles, or if you hate glute workouts and/or walking in general....

Food, food, food!
Food is sure to be a focal point of this trip. Our meals and their locations will depend on the day, so you must be willing to try new things and be open to surprises! Please note that much of Mexican cuisine includes dairy, gluten, and meat. Please know that we will try to accommodate all of your dietary needs, but you may need to be flexible.

Sh** happens
Some things are beyond our control and letting go of expectations is an important part of international travel (and life at large). Even though the weather is mostly heavenly, it can get quite windy. There's a chance your flight will be late or even cancelled, and you may lose precious vacation time. There may be some nights when the festive fireworks keep you up later than your desired bedtime. All this being said, you’ll more likely have one of the most wonderful experiences of your life.
